Along with serving as the director of the Library at CBU, Dr. Campbell is also chair of the Novanet consortium of Nova Scotia academic libraries, and steering committee co-chair for Libraries Nova Scotia. He teaches courses on community organization and leadership in Cape Breton University's MBA program in Community Economic Development. Reflecting an array of research interests, his publications appear in scholarly journals such as Canadian Review of Sociology and Anthropology, Journal of Contemporary Religion, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, Leadership Quarterly, Organization & Environment, Social Studies of Science and Society.
